Hand Drawn Records voted “Best Label” Dallas Observer Music Awards (2013 & 2015)

DALLAS OBSERVER MUSIC AWARDS: Full Winner’s List

Last night, Hand Drawn Records, an artist-centric independent music company and vinyl record pressing service, won it’s second “Best Label” award in the annual Dallas Observer Music Awards. Also taking home top honors was Fort Worthian-turned-National breakout sensation, Leon Bridges, local hitmaker/producer, Blue, the Misfit, alt. rocker Jessie Frye, veteran-folkies Whiskey Folk Ramblers and many more.

The win comes off the heels of several late-2015 new album releases; including an analog tape-to-vinyl record compilation, “Analog Sessions, Volume 1,” a debut LP from Austin rockers, The Screaming Thieves “Hooligans, Heathens and Crafty Devils,” plus a forthcoming concept album by Brandon Callies Band “There’s a Killer Down in Texas” slated for December 18th.

Hand Drawn would like to extend a huge thank you to our artists, fan community and of course, the Dallas Observer staff who have made this 27 year tradition so special for the North Texas music scene.

See you in the new year! -HDR
