BIO

Andrew Tinker is an indie pop artist whose artistry lies in the ever changing texture of his music.

In 2009, Tinker released his first solo record, It Takes the World. A native Texan, the artist has performed with various ensembles, and was a founding member of the Polyphonic Spree, recording french horn on the band’s first two albums and earning a UK silver record for, The Beginning Stages of the Polyphonic Spree.

In 2013 Tinker's music was featured on David Lowery's Ain't Them Bodies Saints, and his sophomore album, Upon the Ecliptic, is available now on Hand Drawn Records.

Summer 2016, Tinker's music was again featured in a Lowery-directed film, this time for Disney's summer blockbuster, Pete's Dragon. The song (co-written by Toby Halbrooks), “Nobody Knows (How to Say Goodbye),” has been recorded and performed by popular Denver trio, The Lumineers
